Edinburgh Airport Transport Links

The airport does not have its own train station. The nearest railway station would be Haymarket or Waverley. Passengers can catch the airport bus or tram for their onward journey to the airport.

Mega  bus and National Express both have buses which are designated services to the airport from Edinburgh and Glasgow.The airport is well serviced throughout the night also by the N22 night bus via the Gyle Shopping Centre and the 35 service from the Scottish Parliament and Holyrood area of the city.

The Edinburgh Trams run from the centre of town at York Square until the Airport terminus. Passengers have a short walk to reach the terminal building. Trams run from early hours of 5am and is a flat fee to the airport from the city.

Travellers can find the taxi rank which is located in the multi-storey building opposite arrivals on the ground floor. Passengers do not need to book ahead they can catch a cab upon arrival.

Airport Parking:
A number of different options apply here at Edinburgh. Short and long stay car parks are available within walking distance of the airport. Other car parks require a short shuttle bus ride which is often only 5 minutes journey away.

Drop Off Zones:
 Drivers can drop off their passengers at this spot for free for a limited time before charges apply. A zone for dropping off passengers at the airport can be found in the ground floor of the multi-storey building opposite arrivals.

Pick Up Zones:
Drivers can collect their passengers from the multi-storey building after they land and make their way through the arrivals hall. Please note their is a charge for this service.
