Tunnel Delays For Rail Users

Work is to commence on the Glasgow to Edinburgh rail line for around
6 weeks.

The dates given are between June 13 until July 27 2015.

Engineers are needing to go under the tunnel to allow access for new power lines.

This in turn means the Winchburgh Tunnel will close causing severe delays close to Linlithgow until the work is complete.

Scotrail which is a train operator within Scotland has a website dedicated solely for this disruption.

Anyone travelling by car from both cities may experience a sudden increase in traffic due to passengers switching from train to car for their journeys.
