How to Survive the High Street
A small shop in the High Street has survived the raise of the large supermarkets and retail parks. They are called Goldings Ironmongers in Bedford. Astonishingly they have survived the last 150 years after opening their doors back in 1867.
Drivers are able to collect their Halloween car rental offers from London City Airport and explore the English High Streets for themselves.
One previous owner who still works at the shop on a Wednesday explains what he thinks helped them survive.
Mr Vic Warner believes that being polite and having good manners combined with looking after your customers helped them stay in business all these years.
