SOS Mystery Solved
A remote region in Australia came under the spotlight recently when a pilot who was flying a helicopter discovered an SOS sign on the ground made out of rocks.
Swift Bay area of western Australia was searched by local police but no-one was found at the site. This then lead to a massive search and rescue operation of the area but this search failed to find any survivors.
Police had discovered a makeshift camp site close by to the SOS sign but no campers.
After a month the Police received a call from a brother of the man named John to say his brother and his companion were stranded in this region back in 2013. His boat had got into trouble and they made their way to shore shortly after wards and managed to survive on some rations before being rescued.
Mystery solved and case now closed.
