River Clyde Collapse
Parts of the River Clyde have shown signs of wear and tear due to a jammed weir.
The update was from Glasgow Council saying that a walkway was closed due to a mechanical failure of one of the weirs. The area affected was between Dalmarnock Road and Glasgow Green.

The fault is recognized to have caused around £100,000 worth of damage as the river will flow with the tide rather than being regulated by the wier.
No houses were affected and agencies are on hand to assess the damage and find a solution.
