Richard Jenner appointed as interim boss at Prestwick Airport
After the Iain Cochrane, chief executive left Prestwick airport, Richard Jenner is set to return in the role of interim chief executive.
Mr Jenner who was general manager of the airport in the 1990’s
and formerly was managing director at both Norwich airport and
Prior to this Mr Jenner was at Kilmarnock & Loudon District
council as managing director for 12 years.
This management shake up is being made in an effort to make
the airport profitable after the Scottish Government purchased

In addition to Richard Jenner, four non executive directors
have been added to the board. These include Gordon Arthur,
who was in charge of communications at the 2014 Commonwealth
games in Glasgow. Also added was Bob Goldfield, previously
chief executive at the Port of Dover.
