The World Organisation for health (WHO) shows that the levels across the city exceeds the PM2.5 limit set by the
organisation.

Report also shows that almost 95% of the city residents live in an area which is more than 50% excess of the stated guidelines for breathable toxins.

The Mayor has introduced a number of schemes to help reduce the levels. One such scheme is the T-Charge which hopes will reduce NOx emissions by removing the amount of dirty cars on the road. This in turn will help help the population improve lung problems and asthma problems.
