Inverness to London Flights Increase
Easy Jet will be adding more flights between London and Inverness next year.
24,000 extra seats will be made available for journeys to and
from Inverness next year between March 27 2016 and June 26
The increased schedules coincide with the Scottish Golf Open
returning. This event will attract tens of thousands of
Easyjet schedules are currently daily to London Luton and
twice per day to London Gatwick.
The new schedule starting next March will operate twice per day
4 days per week to Luton airport and a an extra daily flight to
London Gatwick three days per week.
Local business leaders in Inverness welcomed the changes.
Fraser Grieve, director of SCDI said that this was a great boost
that recognised the importance of this highland route and the increased passenger demand.
All Gayward, head of Easyjet in Scotland said that he was pleased to strengthen the Scottish network and commitment to Inverness. Easyjet is now the largest airline in Scotland with over 50 routes.
