One question being currently asked about electric vehicles: Where would the power come from in order to charge all the world’s vehicles if all other types of cars where banned?

A staggering amount of cars , trucks, lorries, taxis on the roads today across the globe are either diesel or petrol. Only a small number of vehicles are switching over to electric cars in the next few years. How will each country cope with the extra power supply required to charge one or two cars per household?

Switching from the conventional use of petrol and diesel fuel over to a different type of running vehicles will take time as each country will set about new targets and installing new energy chargers. One reason is that not each house is a newly built detached house with a garage which could easily be adapted to accommodate the electric charges.
