Christmas in Edinburgh – Street of Light
Edinburgh’s Royal Mile will be lit up this Christmas by illuminated arches.
Over 60,000 lights will illuminate the Royal Mile from the Tron Kirk to the City Chambers.
The light show, which is free, will be synchronised to the music of Edinburgh choirs and will be running twice a day.
About 2.7 million visitors attended the 2014 Edinburgh Christmas festival spending an estimated £118

The music will be provided by the Edinburgh Police Choir, the Edinburgh Gay Men’s Chorus, the Edinburgh Royal Choral Union and the Edinburgh Festival Chorus.
