Bridges On Stamps

The Royal Mail have decided to place 10 bridges on their stamps to commemorate their land marks.

The bridges in questions are all over the UK and you can visit them the next time you are renting a car in Britain.

The bridges are rare and dating back to the 1600 and 1700s.

The ten featured bridges:

1. Peace Bridge (2011) - Northern Ireland

2. Pont Grog y Borth/Menai Suspension Bridge (1926)

3. Pulteney Bridge (1774) - Bath

4. Tarr Steps (pre-1600s) - Exmoor

5. Thomas Telford's Craigellachie Bridge (1814) - Moray

6. Row Bridge (1700s) - Lake District

7. Royal Border Bridge (1850) - Berwick-upon-Tweed

8. Humber Bridge (1981)

9. Tees Transporter Bridge (1911) - Middlesbrough

10. Robert Stephenson's High Level Bridge (1849) - Newcastle/Gateshead
